The Accounts Receivable Specialist assists with various phases of the accounts receivable process within the Finance department. This position is located at company headquarters in Kennewick, WA.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of daily cash collection communication
  • Review invoices for accuracy
  • Process customer payments and apply in ERP system
  • Assist in preparation and distribution of monthly statements
  • Communicate with customers on delinquent account balances and arranges payments
  • Conduct collection calls for product trade-ins, returns and service loaner devices
  • Research and process customer refunds
  • Other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Education / Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years relevant experience in lieu of education

Job Knowledge / Requirements:

  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team and can positively adapt to changing requirements, deadlines, and priorities
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate experience in Excel
  • Ability to operate a 10-key calculator
  • Commitment to confidentiality
  • Knowledge of general accounting rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:  

  • General office positions may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision and 2-way written/verbal communication. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.
  • Extensive use of computer
