- Analyzes and investigates complex actuarial questions/problems
- Provides explanations and interpretations of current and developing trends in healthcare utilization and costs
- Supports efforts to identify affordability opportunities to lower the cost of healthcare for the members we serve
- Communicates results and technical concepts to broad audiences
- Works with detailed claim and membership data from various sources/data warehouses
- Utilizes AI to find affordability opportunities and create workflow efficiencies
- Creates and maintains actuarial models/reports

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
- 4+ years of actuarial work experience
- Progress toward actuarial designation (ASA track), having passed 4+ exams
- Experience leading actuarial analyses within health insurance
- Experience with SQL or similar programming language
- Advanced or higher level of proficiency with Excel
- Proven solid actuarial judgment and ability to independently resolve complex or ambiguous analytical issues
- Proven solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
- Proven ability to translate technical results into clear insights for non-actuarial stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASA or FSA Society of Actuaries Designation
- Demonstrated intermediate proficiency with coding languages such as SQL/R/Python
- Proven excellent oral and written communication skills
