Role Summary:

Hasana is seeking an Administrative Assistant to keep operations organized and running smoothly across the organization. This role is essential to strengthening our impact by supporting efficient workflows and advancing our mission as a nonprofit with global reach. A minimum of 3 hours per week is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with support tasks as they arise

  • Communicate actively and coordinate across teams

  • Support internal communications and workflows

  • Prepare presentations, reports, and written documents

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Canva and Google Workspace apps

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Experience working with nonprofits (a plus!)

  • Eagerness to learn tools and new skills as needed

As an administrative assistant, you will assist with and provide administrative support to one of the following teams below:
Finance — Manages financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. Oversees disbursements, cash flow, and internal controls.

Outreach & Partnerships — Builds and manages relationships with sponsors, masjids, and community organizations. Handles partner communications and outreach tracking.

Marketing & Communications — Plans social content, tracks engagement, and leads brand strategy. Supports market research and website design.

Tech — Administers the website, donation systems, and automations. Provides tech support and manages integrations and reporting.

Event Deliverables — Executes day-of production, including stage setup, signage, and technical logistics. Coordinates volunteers and on-site operations.

Donor Care — Serves as the front line for donor communications and relationship building. Manages records, follow-ups, and acknowledgements.

People & Culture — Designs onboarding, manages recruitment workflows, and supports volunteer engagement. Gathers feedback and curates team resources.

Global Impact & Programs — Supports volunteer development, reviews partner data, and ensures program compliance.

Special Occasion — Plans and coordinates special events and unique programming outside of recurring campaigns.

Grants — Researches funding opportunities, drafts proposals, and manages the grants calendar. Handles post-award reporting and compliance.

Event Planning — Leads overall event coordination with timelines, venue logistics, programming, and cross-team alignment.
