- Define strategy and plan in order to drive implementation of new processes and standardization of currently existing processes that are part of risk finance, productivity finance and cum catch pacing cycles covering all CSA portfolio (i.e. escalation, high risk contracts identification and monitoring, extra work costs and billing monitoring, linkage of finance outcomes to key finance / controllership policies, as well as to key operational metrics such as outage / repairs events and supply chain planning)
- Lead alignment with productivity, cost out and commercial finance teams, translate inputs from those teams into productivity assumptions by technology to be assumed in commercial deal underwriting processes, and into quarterly productivity playbook and MYA Blueprint / budget processes
- Develop approach / strategy to define scenario / sensitivity analysis, KPI tracking for the most critical variables in MYA portfolio, identify and propose new productivity initiatives
- Lead NPI budget process, work with horizontal teams to build business cases that offer GE cash returns, define approach to and drive regular monitor say-do of all major productivity initiatives impacting the MYA portfolio
- Provide finance expertise and support to catalog preparation, and propose potential changes to policy as applicable to Aero business line
- Demonstrate vision and ability to independently plan medium / long-term strategy implementation through self-defined project plans. Demonstrate independent and self-motivated project management from project definition through implementation and closeout. Demonstrate critical thinking to bring forward proposals that impacts current risk / productivity finance processes and policies. Demonstrate influencing skills when interacting cross-functionally (operations, productivity / cost-out, commercial controllership), and globally.
- Lead / Oversees Contract Margin Reviews, contract costs monitoring, portfolio analytics, risk mitigation and scenario analysis for EMEA + Asia CSA Contracts
- Lead / Oversees all risk-finance related pacing processes (cum catch, actualization, forecast, escalation, productivity) for all pacing cycles (current quarter, early read, budget) for EMEA + Asia CSA Contracts
- Lead / Oversees all risk-finance and productivity related rhythms for CSA contracts in EMEA + Asia (risk identification and tracking, high risk reviews, actualization and CMR review with controllership, renegotiation tracking)
- Partner with regional finance, modeling, catalog and productivity team to drive and track actions related to cum catch impact from forecast / actualization / productivity for EMEA + Asia CSA Contracts
- Support implementation of strong global pacing / risk finance / productivity finance processes for our MYAs, based on strong understanding of CSA margin, extra work and link to key operational metrics such as outage events and supply chain planning
- Partner with global and regional teams to support regional implementation (EMEA + Asia) of best in class processes and tools (escalation, extrawork, lease, cost tracking)
- Provide technical expertise (risk finance / productivity, controllership) to the regional finance teams, drive prioritization of items driving potential risks / financial impact to the business, autonomously propose process changes or different/unconventional solutions to problems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in finance, accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 5 additional years of finance, accounting or audit
