Intelex is on the lookout for an AI solution Architect to join our AI team, working on innovative and transformative solutions that will drive our company's strategic direction in the ever-evolving realm of AI technology & New Initiatives. The AI Solution Architect is responsible for providing technical leadership in the solution and implementation design of Intelex AI features during the entire customer cycle. The position works closely with various stakeholders, including engineering, product, and services teams, to ensure that our technology solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with industry best practices. The position requires a deep understanding of design and configuration in our platform; as well as excellent communication and planning skills.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
AI Solution Development & Integration (50%)
Design and implement robust AI solutions such as LLMs, RAG, and orchestration frameworks like LangGraph that integrates with existing systems and infrastructure while allowing for future scalability.
Define AI/ML solution architecture, guiding teams in model selection, deployment, and optimization.
Ensure AI models are scalable, explainable, and robust, addressing bias, drift, and model governance.
Guide the development and deployment of robust, scalable AI systems by following established MLOps principles.
Design and deliver agentic systems, including tool orchestration, agentic workflows, agents embedded in the SDLC, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
AI Strategy & Architecture Development (20%)
Develop and maintain an AI architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Define AI integration patterns within enterprise applications, leveraging cloud-based AI services and APIs.
Establish AI governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and ethical AI standards.
Research emerging AI trends and ensure the organization stays ahead in AI adoption.
Business Engagement & Use Case Identification (20%)
Work closely with business units, partners, and stakeholders to identify AI opportunities.
Collaborate actively with teams to translate business needs into actionable AI development plans across multiple development groups.
Facilitate AI discovery workshops and proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives.
Technical Leadership & Governance (10%)
Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and governance to ensure consistency and quality across all AI projects.
Mentor engineers, software developers and QAs to ensure high-quality AI implementation.
Ensure AI models comply with data security, privacy, and regulatory policies.

Technical Competencies
Expertise developing large scale web applications and a thorough understanding of common architecture choices for them.
Experience with LLMs such as GPT, BERT, OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, Gemini, LLAMA, etc.
Knowledge of modern ML toolkits and frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.).
Hands-on experience training AI/ML models, including foundation models, fine-tuned models, or specialized domain models.
Experience in Vector Databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Cloud & Data Architecture.
Hands-on expertise with Azure AI Services or AWS AI/ML
Previous experience in full stack development across different technical stacks including JavaScript (ReactJS / Webpack), server (.net framework, .net core), and cloud (AWS, Azure) or equivalent experience.
A solid understanding of object-oriented programming and microservices.
Experience using AI pair programming tools (e.g., Claude Code), with a clear point of view on when to use them vs. when not to, and the ability to coach other engineers on effective and responsible use.
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda functions, IAM, networking) sufficient to produce and defend architecture diagrams for customer-facing AI review boards, and comfort representing Intelex AI externally in customer conversations.
Experience
Required:
3+ years of experience leading the AI/Machine Learning development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
3+ years of experience a leadership role guiding AI strategy and implementation.
Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Scrum development methodology and in leading Agile Scrum development teams.
Preferred:
Five or more years professional experience preferred.
Professional experience within a software product or SaaS organization preferred.
Education
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
Preferred:
Master’s Degree and/or vendor certifications (such as Microsoft Certified Professional) valued.
