Drive AI-led business transformation across multiple B2B software companies. Discover operational challenges, map processes, perform root-cause analysis, design future-state solutions, and implement improvements using AI, automation, systems, and data. Configure workflows, coordinate testing and adoption, build reports and dashboards, and measure outcomes. Work with business leaders and technical teams across Sales, Marketing, Support, Finance, HR, and Operations to convert ambiguous problems into practical, implemented solutions.
This is a remote position.
About Embrace Embrace Software acquires and operates established vertical software businesses across multiple industries. Our Shared Services and Business Transformation teams work with portfolio companies to improve how they operate across Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Finance, HR, and Operations.
AI is increasingly central to how we approach transformation. We are looking for someone who can understand a business problem, redesign the process, identify where AI can create meaningful value, and help turn that idea into a working solution.
About the Role We are looking for an AI Business Transformation Consultant who combines strong business consulting and problem-solving skills with a practical understanding of AI, automation, and enterprise systems.
This is not primarily a developer or automation-engineer role.
You will work directly with business leaders and functional teams across our portfolio companies to understand operational challenges, identify root causes, redesign processes, and implement practical improvements using AI, automation, systems, and data.
A typical assignment may start with a problem such as:
- “Our support team spends too much time manually reviewing tickets.”
- “Our renewal and billing process involves multiple systems and spreadsheets.”
- “Management doesn't have visibility into our sales pipeline.”
- “We acquired a company and need to standardize its CRM and operating processes.”
- “Can AI automate this workflow without creating additional operational risk?”
Your responsibility is to take that problem from discovery → analysis → solution design → implementation → adoption → measurable outcome.
What You Will DoBusiness Consulting & Process Transformation
- Work with business leaders and functional teams to understand operational problems, requirements, and priorities.
- Conduct discovery sessions and translate loosely defined problems into clear business requirements.
- Map current-state processes and identify bottlenecks, manual work, duplicated effort, data gaps, and control issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis rather than simply automating the existing process.
- Design practical future-state processes and operating models.
- Evaluate different solution approaches and recommend the right combination of process, AI, automation, and systems changes.
- Define success metrics and measure whether implemented solutions deliver the expected business value.
- Identify practical AI opportunities across Sales, Marketing, Support, Finance, HR, and Operations.
- Evaluate where AI should — and should not — be used within a business process.
- Design AI-enabled workflows for areas such as document analysis, customer support, reporting, research, knowledge management, CRM operations, and internal productivity.
- Work hands-on with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI platforms.
- Prototype AI solutions quickly and validate them with business users.
- Understand AI limitations, human-review requirements, data/privacy considerations, and operational risks.
- Stay current with new AI capabilities and translate them into practical business use cases.
- Translate business requirements into system configurations and workflows.
- Improve and implement CRM, Helpdesk, ERP, HRMS, project management, and reporting systems.
- Build or configure workflow automations using tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar platforms where appropriate.
- Understand APIs, integrations, system dependencies, and data flows well enough to design solutions and work effectively with technical teams.
- Coordinate testing, UAT, data validation, documentation, rollout, and user adoption.
- Troubleshoot implementation issues and drive projects through to completion.
- Analyze operational and business data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Build management reports, KPI frameworks, and dashboards.
- Use Excel confidently for business analysis, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, formulas, data validation, and structured analysis.
- Convert data into recommendations that leadership can act on.
- You will work across multiple B2B software businesses rather than being limited to one function or system.
- One project may involve improving a CRM sales process. The next may involve automating customer support, redesigning a billing workflow, evaluating an AI agent, improving an HR process, or creating management reporting.
- You should enjoy learning unfamiliar businesses quickly and solving different problems.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Business Consulting, Business Transformation, Management Consulting, Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, Operations Transformation, SaaS Operations, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience understanding business problems and designing practical solutions.
- Strong process mapping, requirements gathering, root-cause analysis, and solution-design skills.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and leadership.
- Hands-on use of modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or similar platforms.
- Experience applying AI or automation to real business processes — not just experimenting with AI tools.
- Experience implementing or improving business systems such as CRM, Helpdesk, ERP, HRMS, or project-management platforms.
- Good understanding of workflow automation, APIs, integrations, and data flows.
- Strong Excel and business-data-analysis skills.
- Ability to create clear process maps, business requirements, SOPs, implementation plans, and management presentations.
- Ability to independently take a loosely defined business problem and drive it toward implementation.
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Consulting or technology consulting
- Business process transformation
- Post-acquisition integration or portfolio-company operations
- SaaS operations, RevOps, Sales Ops, Support Ops, or Finance Operations
- AI agents or multi-step AI workflows
- n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or UiPath
- Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Freshdesk, Zendesk, Jira, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
- AI-assisted document processing or knowledge-management solutions
- Basic Python or JavaScript knowledge
Coding expertise is not mandatory. We care more about your ability to understand the business problem, design the right solution, and use the appropriate tools to implement it.
You will succeed in this role if you can:
Understand the business → identify the real problem → redesign the process → determine where AI can help → implement the solution → get users to adopt it → measure the result.
We are not looking for someone who only creates recommendations and presentations.
We are also not looking for someone who only builds automations based on specifications provided by others.
We want someone who can think like a consultant and execute like an operator.
You Will Thrive Here If
- You naturally ask “Why does the process work this way?” before trying to automate it.
- You can speak comfortably with both business leaders and technical teams.
- You enjoy turning ambiguous problems into structured solutions.
- You use AI as a working tool, not just something you read about.
- You can learn an unfamiliar business or system quickly.
- You are comfortable switching between Sales, Support, Finance, HR, and Operations problems.
- You prefer implementing improvements over producing recommendations that never get executed.
- You can manage multiple transformation initiatives without losing ownership of outcomes.
- Work on AI transformation projects that are implemented in real businesses.
- Solve problems across multiple B2B SaaS companies and industries.
- Work directly with business leaders and operating teams.
- Get exposure to CRM, Support, Finance, HR, Sales, and operational transformation.
- Take ownership from problem discovery through implementation and adoption.
- Experiment with emerging AI capabilities and turn them into measurable business outcomes.
- Build broad business-transformation experience rather than specializing in a single platform.
Benefits
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
- Experience collaborating with a diverse, global team within a remote work setting.
