Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced or Senior Air Cargo Market Forecast Analyst in Renton, Washington on First Shift to help us to continue our industry leading analysis of air cargo trends and future airplane requirements.
We are looking for a highly analytical person who thinks strategically and is skilled at sharing insights with a range of audiences. This position researches, analyzes and communicates key market trends that will shape air cargo and freighter demand including development of Boeing's World Air Cargo Forecast.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Identifying market trends in all segments of the evolving air cargo industry
  • Leading research on airline, technical, regulatory and other market variables to support market analysis and strategic planning
  • Developing solutions to analytic challenges, including modeling, supporting air cargo market forecasts and alternative scenario planning exercises
  • Providing insight into airline cargo business models and strategies for both internal and external audiences
  • Developing and delivering market presentations and industry white papers
  • Providing technical sales support on air cargo issues and freighters
  • Contributing to the shaping and communication of Boeing's view of the future air cargo market

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • (Level: 3) 3+ years of experience in air transport or supply chain or logistics or cargo industry
  • 3+ years of experience in market, statistical, forecast or econometric analysis
  • 1+ years of experience communicating and presenting with the ability to effectively convey complex information to global leadership and audiences

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • (Level: 4) 5+ years of experience in air transport or supply chain or logistics or cargo industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
  • 3+ years of experience in statistical data analysis with statistical software
  • Airline experience including pricing and revenue management
  • Supply chain / logistics experience including air cargo
  • Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL, R, Python or Matlab
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time both domestically and internationally
  • Bachelors Degree or higher

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work in Renton, Washington.
Relocation:
This position offers domestic relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Ranges:
Level 3: $107,100 - $126,000
Level 4: $138,550 - $163,000
