Job Overview
Responsible for managing specific tasks and processes and providing content to various reports and communications within the department. Responsible for various analyses and assuring commentary and notations are correct and accurately reflected in the reports. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the other accounting and finance functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares Financial, Management and Ad Hoc reports and identifies potential opportunities for improvement to reports, reporting processes or formats. Learns business drivers and their effect on financial results. Utilizes accounting reports, and ensures that monthly accounting/reporting close activities and variance analyses are adequately and properly prepared, and maintained in a timely manner.
  • Works with Accounting Operations teams to get transactions recorded properly in line with reporting requirements.
  • Performs detail review of work submitted by Accountants and provides functional advice, guidance, and training.
  • Understands business drivers and their effect on financial results to ensure business changes are accurately reflected in the financial statements, analysis and communication.
  • Uses accounting concepts, experience, analytical skills and knowledge of industry to resolve issues in creative and effective ways, and to ensure that appropriate judgment is applied

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2+ years of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Accounting (Required)
  • 2+ years related working experience. (Required)

Base Pay Range: $53,100 - $95,800

Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
