Job Description:

Job Summary

Responsibilities include designing high density 400V+ DCDC isolated converters, developing and debugging analog circuits, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and providing application support and technical training.

Essential Functions

• Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define high density module products in cloud computing power solutions for CPU, GPU, ASIC, and SOC.

• Develop application reference circuits and system level power management solutions for Data Center/AI applications.

• Hands-on lab bench evaluations, system and board level debugging, and prototype demonstrations.

• Work with cross-functional teams to support existing products and drive new product development.

• Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products.

Qualifications/ Requirements

• MSEE or higher required

• 2+ years of hand-on experience in switch mode power supply designs. Familiar with lab tools like oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, e-loads, frequency analyzer, etc. 

• Lab automation experience with Python is a plus

• Experience with simulation tool like Simplis, Maxwell, Icepak, etc. is preferred.

• Experience in PCB design/layout is a plus.

• Fluent communication skills in English

• Excellent writing and presentation skills

• Self-motivated

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in Washington is $130,000 - $150,000.
