The Partners Group currently has an excellent opportunity for a property & casualty insurance professional to join our Personal Lines team in Renton, WA as an Associate Account Manager.

How you will make an impact at TPG

As an Associate Account Manager, you'll help deliver the responsive, knowledgeable service our Personal Lines clients rely on every day. By serving as a primary point of contact, coordinating policy changes, answering coverage questions, and supporting claims and remarketing activities, you'll help clients make informed decisions and maintain confidence in their insurance program. Your work directly supports client retention, strengthens long-term relationships, and allows Personal Insurance Advisors to focus on strategic client needs and growth opportunities.

A typical day in this role

  • Manage policy changes, billing inquiries, and coverage questions for assigned clients
  • Quote new business and additional coverage lines
  • Review policies and endorsements for accuracy
  • Complete remarketing activities to maintain competitive coverage
  • Partner with advisors and teammates to support client needs
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation

Key details

Title: Associate Account Manager

Location: Renton, Washington (Portland, OR considered); in-office with hybrid remote opportunities after 90 days

Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri

Compensation: $24.00-28.00 per hour, non-exempt (DOE); approx. $50,000-60,000 annually

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to handle long periods of screen time.

Travel: Minimal, if any

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the table 

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
  • 5+ years of customer service experience, including 3+ years in an independent insurance agency
  • Knowledge of personal lines insurance products and coverages
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and carrier systems

What will make you really stand out

  • Experience with AMS360 (or other agency management systems)
  • Experience with PL Rater (preferred)
  • Familiarity with leading personal lines carriers such as Safeco, Chubb, Travelers, Progressive, or PURE.
  • Experience providing coverage guidance and processing policy changes directly with carriers.
  • A collaborative, positive approach and a desire to learn and grow.
