We Do Consulting Differently

Second Sight Solutions, a subsidiary of Berkeley Research Group (BRG), is a health technology company, and our innovative technology reimagines how drug discount data is exchanged, establishing new connections and improving transparency for drug manufacturers and their customers. Our customers and partners trust us to deliver reliable, first-to-market solutions and safeguard the data we receive. We trust our employees, and our culture gives them the freedom to create, collaborate, and grow. Our leaders are industry experts, creative, unafraid to challenge the status quo, and the pioneers of market-changing solutions.

The Associate Manager sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and cross-functional coordination within the Portfolio Operations Management (POM) team - a dynamic, growing department that serves as the connective tissue across every function at Second Sight Solutions. This role works closely with the POM Team Lead to bring structure and clarity to complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives, ensuring that products and projects move forward with the right people informed, aligned, and equipped to act. A core part of this role involves supporting the operationalizing of new feature launches that impact multiple teams from inception to post-launch care. Beyond this, the Associate Manager plays an active role in identifying and operationalizing Team and Product processes, ensuring efficiencies through technology and communication, and leading a range of operational initiatives that keep the broader organization and Operations teams running smoothly. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment, can work both collaboratively and independently, and can communicate confidently and professionally at every level of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support cross-functional initiatives across the organization, acting as a reliable operational link between the POM team and stakeholders spanning all of Operations, Strategy, Development, Security, and beyond.

  • Apply working knowledge of the organization’s core tools and platforms to organize, communicate, and deliver work in the most effective format for each audience and purpose.

  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with the POM Team Lead and key stakeholders on task status, upcoming deadlines, and potential risks, bringing visibility to the work.

  • Plan, attend, document, and distribute notes for cross-functional meetings - capturing decisions, action items, key discussion points, and differing perspectives in a format that keeps all stakeholders, present or absent, fully aligned.

  • Contribute to the organization’s Change Management efforts by supporting the creation of training materials and assisting in the rollout and adoption of the practices across teams.

  • Support the end-to-end coordination of large-scale feature launches that impact multiple teams - owning the pre-launch planning, stakeholder alignment, and logistics, and then driving post-launch follow-through, Hypercare, and cross-functional continuity once a feature is live.

  • Create and/or support reporting efforts across the team—within project management and workforce management platforms.

  • Take full ownership of assigned work and clarify scope, establish timelines, and drive tasks through to completion with attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Work through problems and blockers independently, adapt when circumstances change, and bring forward solutions and recommendations.

  • Coordinate the logistics, materials, and communications for large-scale operational onsite programs, ensuring teams are prepared, informed, and set up for a successful experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 4+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, program management, or a related function.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and maintain accuracy under pressure.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and able to quickly absorb, synthesize, and clearly convey large volumes of information to varied audiences, including Leadership and Team Leads.

  • Instinctively proactive communicator who keeps stakeholders informed, anticipates needs, and follows through without prompting.

  • Strong active listening, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills; able to navigate ambiguity and adapt when circumstances shift.

  • Functional comfort with data and reporting—able to read and interpret reports, contribute structured data inputs, and build reporting views within project management and workforce management platforms.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) and the Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira); experience with Figma and data visualization tools a plus

  • Ability to research and incorporate emerging technology that streamlines operations and enhances productivity.

  • Experience supporting or facilitating trainings, workshops, or product rollouts is a plus.

  • Healthcare experience is a plus.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment - this is a growing team building something new, and adaptability is as important as experience.

Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the United States, without company sponsorship.

Salary range: $120,000 - $145,000

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
