The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Procurement Financial Analyst to join the Supply Chain organization in Everett, WA.
Come join our dynamic Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain Finance team, where you will engage in a variety of activities in support of procurement initiatives. Anticipating the needs of our customers is what sets Boeing apart. This is a critical function that drives the company's success and supports decisions impacting all commercial Programs and platforms.
The ideal candidate will quickly learn complex systems and use constructive feedback to improve processes, shorten onboarding, and reduce errors. They will also clean and validate large datasets, build reliable models, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Researches, collects, synthesizes, and analyzes data from appropriate sources to estimate cost of parts, systems and services to obtain best market value
  • Develops financial models and other analytical tools to drive recommendations for the procurement of goods and services
  • Analyzes contract terms to ensure comprehensive understanding of financial and non-financial implications
  • Supports contract price negotiations to achieve most favorable outcome
  • Understands and utilizes economic, financial, and operational data to accurately diagnose key issues, develop strategic alternatives, and drive cross-functional and cross-divisional stakeholder alignment
  • Conveys financial analysis, strategies, and business recommendations to guide executive leadership decision making on key choices
  • Conducts financial, operational, proposal and procedural audits of supplier data and systems
  • Prepares the Priced Bill of Material
  • Performs and compiles appropriate risk and opportunity analysis
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations or Supplier Management)
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing data and making recommendations to take appropriate actions based on findings or doing business case analysis (i.e. Return on Investment, Cost/Benefit)
  • Experience building cross-functional consensus among internal and external stakeholders to drive business results
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with analytics and data visualization
  • Experience with supply chain operations from raw material to final product

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $79,050 - $106,950
