Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Level 1) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be a fully remote opportunity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Source and procure various commodities throughout multiple program
Conduct price analysis, work negotiations by using policies and procedures, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)s
Interface and collaborate with programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
Schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives
Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business administration, supply chain, or related field; may consider 4 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months (internship or otherwise) of experience in supply, chain, purchasing/procurement, operations, and/or business
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience
Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation industry
Experience with FAR/DFAR
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
