The Role

As a Billing Specialist at Bloomerang, you are a part of a team that oversees the billing process for our customers. Your responsibilities will include setting up new accounts, resolving billing issues raised by customers, working with stakeholders to request pertinent information, and participating in various projects to improve the quality of the billing process.


What You Will Do

  • Gain a deep understanding of the sales process from contract inception to billing & collection.
  • Work cross-functionally with a team to complete various tasks including invoicing, collections, phone support and e-mail customer service.
  • Oversee daily operations such as upgrades, cancellations, payments and refunds on the billing platform. 
  • Research and resolve payment variances by partnering with the customer and account managers.
  • Look for process improvement and opportunities to automate tasks to streamline.
  • Manage the billing cases in Salesforce.
  • Open new accounts as well as make updates to existing accounts.
  • Move seamlessly through various billing systems as well as the Salesforce CRM for all account information and invoicing.
  • Collaborate with parallel teams to provide support and solve issues.
  • Assist in various team projects, ad hoc projects and relevant audits.
  • Working cross functionally with our sales and customer success teams.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 1‐3 years’ experience working in billing or accounts receivables
  • Analytical, detail‐oriented, and strong organizational mindset
  • Ability to pivot and multi-task when needed.
  • Excellent communication skills. Must be able to provide and receive feedback.
  • Positive attitude and desire to work in a space that impacts non-profit organizations.
  • Ability to stay current with emerging AI capabilities and apply them directly through hands-on building and experimentation.

  • Experience with: Ordway, Zuora and Salesforce

Compensation 
The salary range for this position is $49,200 - $65,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws

Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position (within the U.S. and select Canadian Provinces only). Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
