You will lead high-impact brand marketing campaigns, execute content creator strategy, and bring integrated activations to life with speed, creativity, and founder-level energy. You will jump in headfirst to help us grow our brand platform, scale upper-funnel reach, bring new products to market, and deepen our connection with young investors and parents.

What you will do at Acorns:
  • Build Integrated Campaigns: Design and execute impactful, content-first brand campaigns across social, digital, in-app, PR, partnerships, experiential, and influencer channels.

  • Write Creative Briefs & Positioning: Craft exceptional brand positioning, creative briefs, and marketing plans that connect cultural moments directly to the Acorns brand mission.

  • Leverage Emerging AI Tools: Proactively integrate AI tools and workflows into the creative development process to scale content production, increase campaign agility, and explore innovative storytelling mediums.

  • Manage Agencies & Partners: Confidently represent the Brand Marketing team with external agencies, creators, and internal leadership, successfully navigating legal and compliance requirements.

  • Drive Creator Marketing: Support full-funnel creator and influencer marketing strategies from high-level brand awareness down to conversion-driven demand.

  • 6–9 years of experience in brand marketing, social media strategy, branded content programs, or influencer/creator management.

  • Proven track record of executing multi-channel, social-first integrated campaigns from the ground up.

  • Impeccable strategic judgment and a deep understanding of internet culture, social trends, and community building.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to seamlessly collaborate with creative, legal, compliance, and agency relationships.

  • Thirst for delivering game-changing products and campaigns that redefine how families look after their financial wellness.

  • Exceptional drive and precision in delivery, with the agility to project manage and and prioritize under tight timelines. You do not shy away from a contract, workback schedule or compliance review.

  • AI Curiosity & Aptitude: A strong interest and hands-on agility in applying generative AI tools across workflows—from copy ideation to content asset generation—to amplify output and speed.

  • Analytical curiosity to comfortably apply data, learnings and insights to inform strategy that drives our goals and measure performance.

  • A belief that your work is tied to your life's mission and optimism about the potential of societal change.

You are not expected to have experience with all listed requirements. If you feel passionate about Acorns' mission, vision, and values, please apply.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
