That’s how we’re UNSTOPPABLE for our employees!

We're changing how America connects at home. You'll lead the hardware portfolio strategy that makes it happen. The T-Mobile Home Internet Product Marketing team is looking for a Hardware Product Portfolio Strategy Manager who's ready to own the vision for our hardware lineup. This includes the Wi-Fi gateways sitting in millions of homes, mesh access points, connected home devices, and accessories that make T-Mobile Home Internet the best experience in the market.
This isn't a "manage the roadmap" role. This is a "define what's possible, make the case for it, and drive it to market" role. You'll work at the intersection of strategy, technology, and marketing—shaping products across both our 5G and Fiber Home Internet businesses, influencing engineering teams, and leading go-to-market launches that make noise.
We are looking for someone who obsesses over unmet customer needs, gets energized by complexity, and knows how to turn technical specs into real business value.
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the portfolio vision. Define which hardware products belong in T-Mobile's lineup and why—grounded in customer needs, market trends, and business priorities.

  • Bridge the business and engineering gap. Partner with product and engineering to translate customer experience goals into technical requirements.

  • Build the business case. Develop pricing strategies, volume forecasts, and financial models for new products. Identify opportunities to drive cost efficiencies and ARPU growth across the portfolio.

  • Plan for what's next. Shape the roadmap for future product generations—staying ahead of competitive and technology shifts in broadband, consumer electronics, and connected home.

  • Lead the launch. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies including positioning, value props, and RTBs. Rally cross-functional teams across integrated marketing, retail, e-commerce, PR, and supply chain to deliver launches that land.

  • Scale smart. Define strategies for expanding the portfolio across multiple facets of our business while driving efficiencies across supply chain, demand planning, and fleet management.

  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience. Acceptable areas of study include Marketing, Business, Communications, or relevant field of study such as Computer Science

  • 5 years in Category Management, Product Planning, Portfolio Management, or Corporate Strategy—with a track record of making data-driven decisions that move the business forward

  • 5 years of product or category management experience in consumer electronics, consumer hardware, broadband technologies, or similar

  • Proven ability to build annual business plans that include financial impact assessments, forecasting, and multi-year roadmaps

  • Strong technical acumen—comfortable advocating for specific feature requirements alongside product and engineering teams

  • Experience working with supply chain and demand planning to develop forecasts across volume, revenue, and cost

  • A history of establishing KPIs and driving accountability across cross-functional teams

  • An entrepreneurial mindset—you spot gaps before others do and build solutions that scale

  • You're as comfortable in a data set as you are in a strategy presentation. Ambiguity doesn't slow you down—it energizes you

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
