Overview

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Microsoft’s software supply chain depends on controls that span every step—from code and build through signing, scanning, vaulting, distribution, and licensing. The Trust and Secure Services (TSS) portfolio provides critical end-to-end assurance. Centralized code signing establishes a verifiable chain of trust, while malware and vulnerability scanning enforce policy gates and help prevent compromised artifacts from reaching customers. Secure vaulting and controlled distribution protect validated content, and a unified publishing pipeline keeps controls consistent across endpoints and clouds. Content protection, licensing, and activation enforce entitlements at runtime, protecting customers and Microsoft intellectual property. Together, TSS services help keep the software supply chain intact, traceable, and resilient to evolving threats.

As a Business Operations Program Manager on the Trust and Secure Services team, you will own programs and processes that protect Microsoft products and services throughout the digital supply chain. You will apply technical understanding and program management skills to create clarity and deliver results that meet business and customer needs. At Microsoft, our mission—to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more—guides how we partner with customers to deliver trusted, impactful solutions. With a growth mindset culture, we innovate responsibly and measure success by shared progress for people, teams, and customers. Join us to do meaningful work that changes the world and helps shape what’s next for everyone.

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
