Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) has an exciting opportunity for a proactive Business Operations Specialist to support the E-7 Chief Engineer's Office in Tukwila, WA.
The Business Operations Focal will guide and facilitate the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies, and processes to achieve business goals across the E-7 Ecosystem. Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate in a cross-functional environment. This is rapidly growing program in a fast paced environment and the ability to work extremely independently on a variety of projects across multiple customers in various stages of development, modification and sustainment while also having fun will be essential.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced or Senior Level Specialists.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Develops, coordinates, and assesses architecture of meeting content and leadership briefings.
  • Lead coordination of commitments with internal and external stakeholders for large-scale, complex plans supporting executive leadership strategies.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plans, and refine business cases accordingly.
  • Present plans and business cases to executive leadership for approval.
  • Facilitate establishment of management system architecture using Program Management Best Practices.
  • Develop and maintain visibility systems to support management architecture.
  • Utilize management systems to report status on commitments and compliance with plans.
  • Represent executive management in communicating business policies, strategies, and directions internally and externally.
  • Assist in task management and provide expert business advice to optimize executive resource utilization.
  • Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management.
  • 3+ years of experience working on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross-business domains with executive interface experience.
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
  • 3+ years of experience in preparing and presenting executive level briefings.
  • 3+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience working with Department of Defense and international equivalents.
  • Experience functioning in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proven experience in business operations, program management, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to coordinate complex projects and engage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience facilitating the meetings and presenting to senior leaders.
  • Experience coordinating the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serving as liaison between project and team, finance, planning, scheduling and management.
  • Experience with developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and/or metrics.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Experienced level (Level 3): $101,150 - $136,850
Summary pay range for Senior level (Level 4): $126,650 - $171,350
