Boeing's Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization has a rare opportunity available for 3 experienced Facilities Engineering Managers to join the Northwest Region as key members of these dynamic Leadership teams, on-site in Seattle, Renton, Tukwila or Everett, WA.
How you'll make an impact:
You will support a talented team of engineers within the Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering (PACE) Center of Expertise (CoE), helping deliver solutions that sustain manufacturing operations and other mission-critical systems. In this role, you will contribute to enabling our business partners' success by supporting reliable, high-performing infrastructure across our facilities.
  • The "West Corridor" based Facilities Engineering Manager will serve a team at sites in Tukwila, Kent, and Seattle, WA
  • The "North Boeing Field" based Facilities Engineering Manager will serve a team at sites in Seattle, Renton, SeaTac and Moses Lake, WA.
  • The Everett based Facilities Engineering Manager will serve a team at the Everett, WA site.

These positions include an expectation of approximately 25% domestic travel.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the engineering team's goals and priorities, providing direction and oversight
  • Design and implement process plans, policies, and procedures to achieve operational goals
  • Secure and allocate resources for engineering work, oversee supplier technical performance and drive process improvements
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports
  • Review and approve technical approaches, designs, products and engineering processes
  • Participate in equipment make/ buy evaluations and source selection, providing technical oversight of suppliers
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate employees to develop skills, advance careers and sustain high performance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Software Systems (CMMS) (i.e. Maximo or equivalent)
  • Experience with oversight of budgets and financial data
  • Experience in financial acumen
  • Able to travel up to 25% domestically

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience in Facilities Engineering
  • Experience leading process evaluations and improvements
  • Experience developing strategic long range business plans
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
  • Experience using MS Office Suite
  • Experience in administrating change management
  • Strategic decision making, planning and organizational skills

Summary Pay Range: $135,150 - $182,850
