It involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to perform complex analyses and deliver insights that inform critical business decisions. The role requires synthesizing recommendations and constructing executive-level presentations to communicate findings clearly and effectively. Success is measured by the ability to influence decision-making, drive cross-functional collaboration, and provide actionable business insights. The work impacts organizational strategy and supports leadership in aligning business initiatives with market dynamics and customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own continuous procurement signal monitoring across GovWin IQ, SAM.gov, USASpending.gov, and agency forecast portals — tracking expirations, Sources Sought notices, RFI activity, and IDIQ/GWAC recompete windows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Sales to support business planning.
  • Produce and own the monthly Government Winback Calendar: highest-priority expiring Federal and SLED contracts with engagement windows, agency stakeholder context, and competitive vulnerability assessment.
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations that clearly communicate complex analyses and recommendations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities and communications to support strategic initiatives and leadership engagements.
  • Synthesize business insights and craft messaging tailored to diverse audiences to support performance reviews and growth initiatives.
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Business, Management, Economics, Statistics, or related field. (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years experience in government procurement intelligence or Federal BD intelligence support in a federal contracting, defense, public sector technology, or government consulting environment — with GovWin IQ and SAM.gov as core daily job functions. (Preferred)
  • Up to 2 years SLED procurement experience: state procurement portals, cooperative purchasing vehicles, and local government RFP patterns. (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years experience in strategy and problem solving experience in framing complex problems, identifying key issues that impact business decisions and providing data driven recommendations. (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years experience in financial modeling and analytics.
  • Experience in developing financial models and performing financial and operating analysis and reporting, including analyzing complex data. (Preferred)
  • Up to 2 years experience in project management, including managing projects independently, engaging and getting buy-in from stakeholders, creating roadmaps and project plans. (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
