  • Own requirements intake, discovery, process mapping, impact analysis, and scoping for cross-functional business systems initiatives.
  • Finalize solution designs and coordinate end-to-end technical implementation, including test planning, end-user UAT, defect resolution, deployment, post-deployment validation, and historical data reconciliation.
  • Own ongoing data quality, including establishing monitoring, cleansing, validation, migration/backloading, and reconciliation as gaps are identified or data models evolve.
  • Design and maintain enterprise architecture solutions for IT-owned systems and platforms
  • Lead architecture efforts for moderately complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Translate business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Define integration approaches across various SaaS and cloud platforms
  • Support AI and automation initiatives through architecture guidance and implementation support

  • Ensure architecture solutions align with security, compliance, and governance standards
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams on solution delivery
  • Identify opportunities to optimize system performance, scalability, resiliency, and cost
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members and project teams
  • Contribute to architectural standards, documentation, and best practices
  • Support vendor evaluations and technology selection activities
  • Governance and administration of enterprise platforms, including role-based access controls, license management, and cost optimization

About You

  • You’re a collaborative and solutions-focused technologist with a strong foundation in enterprise architecture and modern platforms.
  • You enjoy solving complex problems, working across teams, and building scalable, secure solutions that drive real impact.
  • You take extreme ownership of outcomes, are comfortable leading through ambiguity, and can move between executive-level business conversations and detailed technical decisions.
  • You build trust by making complexity understandable, surfacing risks early, and following problems through from discovery to measurable results.
  • You care deeply about the quality and usefulness of the systems you build.
  • You are willing to challenge assumptions and adapt quickly as requirements change.

What You Bring

  • Experience with enterprise systems, cloud/hybrid environments, and integration design (API, SaaS)
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Certinia, Rippling, and Greenhouse
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A thoughtful approach to security, governance, and performance optimization
  • A balance of hands-on execution and long-term architectural thinking

Core Experience

  • 8+ years in systems, application, or enterprise architecture (or similar roles)
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure, system design, and security principles
  • Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and evaluate technical solutions
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks or security/compliance standards
  • Exposure to vendor selection or mentoring team members

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
