Summary of Position:

Performs supervisory and operational leadership responsibilities for the Claims Support team at Security First Insurance (Company). Responsible for the daily oversight, coordination, and quality review of Claim Support Specialists who provide administrative and operational support to the Claims Department. Ensures work is completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with company standards while serving as a resource for claims staff, vendors, and internal business partners.

The position monitors workloads, assigns work, assists with process improvements, delivers coaching and feedback, and supports special projects and departmental initiatives. The Claims Support Supervisor serves as the primary point of escalation for administrative support functions and helps ensure consistency, efficiency, and service excellence across the team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Directly supervises Claims Support Specialists and coordinates daily work assignments and priorities.
  • Monitors team productivity, service levels, and workload distribution to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Reviews work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with departmental procedures.
  • Serves as the first point of escalation for issues involving vendor management, invoice processing, bulk payments, onboarding activities, and other administrative support functions.
  • Assists with coordinating and monitoring vendor-related processes, including maintaining vendor contact information and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Supports payroll administration, attendance monitoring, timekeeping, scheduling, and related administrative functions for direct reports.
  • Assists the Claim Support Manager with communications, reporting, and special projects.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and recommends changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintains performance metrics and prepares reports related to team activities and operational results.
  • Collaborates with Claims leadership and business partners to support departmental initiatives and customer service objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four (4) years of directly related experience including one (1) year of supervisory

experience

  • OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
