About LexRight, Inc.

LexRight helps law firms and legal departments unlock the full potential of their legal technology stack. We specialize in implementing, supporting, and optimizing case management platforms, delivering process automation, managed services, and continuous improvements that drive measurable results.

Our team is built around professionals who understand how law firms actually work—many of us started our careers as paralegals, legal assistants, or legal operations specialists before moving into technology. We translate day-to-day legal practice into practical, high-impact systems that attorneys and staff can truly use.

Role Overview

The Client Success Consultant is a hands-on, individual contributor role designed for professionals who understand law firm work and want to apply that knowledge to legal technology.

You will guide law firm clients through onboarding and adoption of complex case management platforms—helping attorneys, paralegals, and staff turn their real-world workflows into effective system configurations. This role is ideal for someone who has worked inside a law firm (e.g., paralegal, legal assistant, case manager, docketing specialist) and has transitioned into—or wants to grow further into—legal technology, process improvement, and client enablement.

You will not manage people. Instead, you will be a trusted advisor who bridges the gap between legal practice and technology.

Key Responsibilities

Translate Legal Work into Technology

  • Partner with attorneys and paralegals to map firm workflows—intake, matter management, deadlines, documents, billing, and reporting.
  • Convert those workflows into practical configurations within case management platforms.
  • Help clients rethink inefficient manual processes and replace them with automation.

Client Onboarding & System Setup

  • Assist with configuration of matters, fields, forms, templates, automations, and dashboards.
  • Support data migration and validation from legacy systems or spreadsheets.
  • Participate in testing and user acceptance from a practitioner’s perspective.

Training & Enablement

  • Train attorneys and staff in plain, practical language rooted in how they actually work.
  • Create guides, cheat sheets, and SOPs that reflect law-firm realities, not generic IT documentation.
  • Coach clients on best practices for intake, calendaring, task management, and collaboration

Ongoing Client Success

  • Act as a day-to-day advisor after go-live—answering questions, recommending improvements, and supporting change requests.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline client processes or expand platform usage.
  • Collaborate with internal support and managed services teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Practice-Driven Expertise
  • Maintain strong understanding of legal workflows and terminology.
  • Stay current on platform capabilities and new features.
  • Advocate internally for enhancements based on what law firm users truly need.

Who This Role Is For

This position is a great fit if you:

  • Started your career as a paralegal, legal assistant, case manager, or legal operations professional
  • Became the “go-to tech person” at your firm
  • Helped configure a case management system, built templates, or improved firm processes
  • Enjoy explaining technology to attorneys in practical, non-technical language
  • Want to stay close to the practice of law while moving deeper into legal tech

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years working in a law firm or legal department (paralegal, legal assistant, legal ops, or similar).
  • Hands-on exposure to a legal case management platform.
  • Experience supporting attorneys or staff with technology or process changes.
  • Ability to translate legal terminology and workflows into system requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and client empathy—comfortable speaking with attorneys.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple client priorities.

Preferred

  • Experience helping implement or administer SaaS systems such as Filevine, Clio, Litify, PracticePanther, or similar preferred
  • Background in intake processes, matter lifecycle, calendaring, or billing workflows.
  • Experience creating templates, automations, or reports within a legal platform.
  • Prior role as a senior paralegal who supported firm technology initiatives.
  • Exposure to data migration or process documentation.

Why LexRight?

  • Join a team that values law-firm experience as much as technical skills
  • Use your paralegal/legal background in a new, high-growth career path
  • Work remotely while staying connected to the legal profession
  • Opportunity to become a true legal technology expert
  • Competitive compensation and professional development

If interested, please introduce yourself and provide a resume to [email protected].  We look forward to hearing from you.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
