Description

Seattle, WA | Mercedes-Benz | Sprinter | Commercial vehicle | Fleet | B2B | Commercial sales | Fleet manager | Account management | CV sales | Pacific Northwest | King County | Seattle metro | Veterans encouraged to apply | $72,000 - $150,000+ OTE

IS THIS YOU?

• You have commercial, fleet, or B2B sales experience and you understand that business buyers operate differently from retail customers -- decisions involve multiple stakeholders, timelines stretch across quarters, and the relationship that wins the first order is the one that earns every order after it

• You're a self-directed, proactive prospector who builds pipeline through outreach, networking, and referrals rather than waiting for floor traffic -- commercial vehicle sales rewards the person who goes looking for the business

• You're ready to own the commercial vehicle function at a high-profile Seattle Mercedes-Benz store, where the Sprinter's market position in last-mile delivery, construction, healthcare, and fleet operations gives a motivated CV sales manager a genuinely strong platform to build on

WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

Mercedes-Benz of Seattle serves one of the Pacific Northwest's most active commercial vehicle markets. Seattle's density of construction, logistics, healthcare, government, and technology-sector businesses creates consistent Sprinter demand across a wide range of buyer types -- from owner-operators adding a second van to fleet managers sourcing dozens of units at a time. The Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager owns this business at the store level: prospecting, account development, deal structure, and the ongoing client relationships that turn a single purchase into a multi-year fleet partnership.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prospect and develop commercial accounts across the Seattle metro -- construction, logistics, last-mile delivery, healthcare, government, utilities, and any business sector with a Sprinter application

• Manage the full commercial sales cycle from initial outreach through needs assessment, vehicle configuration, upfit coordination, financing, and delivery

• Build and maintain a CRM-tracked pipeline of active prospects, pending deals, and existing accounts -- consistent follow-up and account management discipline are what separate a CV sales manager from a transactional order-taker

• Advise commercial clients on Sprinter configuration options -- wheelbase, roof height, powertrain, upfit packages, and Mercedes-Benz commercial financing programs -- matching specs to the client's actual operational requirements

• Coordinate with upfit vendors and the service department to ensure commercial clients receive properly equipped, delivery-ready vehicles on time

• Develop fleet and wholesale account relationships -- state and local government agencies, national fleet management companies, and large commercial operators in the Seattle market

• Stay current on Sprinter model year changes, Mercedes-Benz commercial incentive programs, and competitive commercial van alternatives

• Report commercial vehicle sales activity, pipeline status, and account development progress to store management

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Commercial vehicle, fleet, or B2B sales experience -- required. Sprinter or commercial van sales experience a significant advantage; equipment, logistics, construction, or other commercial sales backgrounds transferable

• A proactive prospector -- commercial CV sales at a dealership is not a floor-up role. You build your own pipeline through outreach, referrals, and industry networking

• Strong account management instincts -- you follow up without being reminded, you know where every deal stands, and your clients hear from you before they have to reach out

• Working knowledge of commercial vehicle configuration -- wheelbase, payload, upfit options, and fleet financing structures. Willingness to develop deep Sprinter product expertise from day one

• Comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder commercial purchase decisions -- fleet managers, business owners, procurement teams, and government purchasing offices all require different approaches

• CRM discipline -- your pipeline stays current because your habits make it so

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

WHAT WE OFFER

• OTE of $72,000 - $150,000+/yr -- commercial vehicle sales rewards consistent account development and long-term relationship management over time

• Paid Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and commercial vehicle product training

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance

• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options

• Paid time off and paid holidays

• Career growth into fleet director and commercial vehicle management roles within Swickard's expanding network

• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

WHY MERCEDES-BENZ OF SEATTLE -- COMMERCIAL VEHICLES

• Seattle's commercial economy -- construction, logistics, healthcare, tech campuses, government agencies -- generates consistent, diverse Sprinter demand across buyer types and fleet sizes. The CV Sales Manager who builds relationships in this market has a durable, compounding book of business to work from

• The Sprinter is the commercial van market leader. Walking into a prospecting conversation with a Mercedes-Benz behind you is a different conversation than walking in with a second-tier brand -- the product earns attention before you say a word

• Commercial accounts are repeat buyers. A fleet operator who trusts you doesn't shop around for the next unit -- they call you. That dynamic makes a well-managed commercial book genuinely self-sustaining over time

• Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry

• Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- apply to every commercial client relationship just as directly as any retail guest interaction

Commercial vehicle sales is built on relationships and pipeline discipline. If you have the B2B instincts, the prospecting habits, and the follow-through to build a Sprinter fleet book in one of the Pacific Northwest's most active commercial markets -- apply.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
