Job Overview
We’re looking for a Compensation Manager to help shape how we attract, reward, and retain talent across our Consumer organization. You’ll play a key role in designing, managing, and evolving compensation programs. Your work will span both strategy and hands-on execution. This role sits at the center of strategy and execution—partnering closely with HR and business leaders to deliver competitive, compliant, and data-driven compensation programs that support T-Mobile’s continued growth. Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage and evolve base pay and incentive plans to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, and benchmarking to keep programs competitive
  • Support planning, execution, and communication of merit and bonus cycles
  • Partner across teams to ensure plans are compliant, well-documented, and effectively executed
  • Build and analyze dashboards, audits, and reports to inform decisions and identify trends
  • Translate complex compensation concepts into clear guidance, tools, and training for leaders and HR partners
  • Partner with external consultants and leverage tools like Workday and market pricing platforms
  • Drive key compensation initiatives from planning through execution
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4–7 years of compensation experience
  • Experience with market pricing tools and compensation analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities
  • Experience working in Workday a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects forward
  • Strong communication skills
  • CCP, CSCP, PHR, or SPHR certification a plus
  • Experience supporting large, matrixed organizations
  • Background in incentive compensation design or governance preferred

Base Pay Range: $81,900 - $147,800

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
