YOUR MISSION

The COMSEC Manager is responsible for ensuring the safeguarding, accountability, and control of all COMSEC material and devices, in strict compliance with NSA, DoD, CNSSI, and other Federal Regulations. The role reports to the Vice President of Facilities and Government Security and will be onsite in our Denver, CO office.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and administer True Anomaly’s COMSEC program in compliance with NSA, DOD 5220.22-M, CNSSI 4000 series and NISPOM requirements.
  • Serve as COMSEC Custodian, responsible for the secure receipt, control, storage, distribution, and destruction of COMSEC-keying material and equipment. 
  • Develop, maintain and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for COMSEC handling, incident response, reporting, and audits. 
  • Conduct internal self-inspections, prepare for government audits, and ensure timely resolution of corrective actions.  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of COMSEC experience in aerospace, defense, or government environments.
  • Completion of NSA COMSEC Custodian training or equivalent. 
  • Strong experience in vendor management and stakeholder communication. 
  • Demonstrated experience of COMSEC equipment (e.g. KG-175, KIV devices, key loaders). 
  • U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to maintain or obtain TS/SCI clearance 

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: $80,000-$110,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave 

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location—this position will be fully onsite in our Gravity Works office in Centennial, CO. 
  • Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.
  • Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.
