Role Overview:

Could you be our next Corporate Communications Specialist? Globe Life is looking for a Corporate Communications Specialist to join the team!

This role is responsible for creating and distributing multichannel communications that drive employee engagement by acting as a business partner to internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This individual will manage projects, draft content, route for approvals, and publish to internal communication channels, including digital signage, the employee intranet, newsletter, alerts, and email.

This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).

What You Will Do:

  • Act as liaison between the Corporate Communications team and internal stakeholders to coordinate, develop, and execute communications strategy to achieve goals.
  • Manage content for assigned Marketing channels, suggesting strategic changes and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and update detailed content schedule (weekly, monthly, and yearly) for stakeholders and coordinate with the Corporate Communications team.
  • Collaborate with other Marketing Department team members and management to align messaging and communication goals.
  • Implement feedback and apply as needed to future assignments.
  • Manage, research, and develop campaigns to align with best practices.
  • Adhere to and enforce the style guide and brand guidelines to ensure materials are consistent, accurate, and timely.
  • Contribute to and/or oversee special projects as assigned.

What You Can Bring:

  • B.A. in Communications, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or other relevant degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong project management, copywriting, content development, proofreading, employee engagement, and research skills required.
  • Working knowledge of project management and proofing tools.
  • Experience developing clear, concise copy that aligns with brand voice and tone.
  • Experience with M365 and PC operating systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple revision cycles and incorporate feedback while maintaining project timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with teams across multiple levels.
  • Workfront, Workday, Airtable, Canva, SnapComms, and Intranet platforms experience a plus.
  • Ability to be a creative thinker and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
  • Flexible and able to switch focus to different projects when business demands change.
  • Ability to prioritize, communicate progress, and deliver projects on time.
  • Ability to autonomously investigate/research information needed for projects.
