About Creative.

At Huge, Creative brings together designers, writers, and technologists to create meaningful digital experiences. We combine creativity, design, technology, and a deep understanding of people to transform complex challenges into intuitive, engaging, and impactful experiences.

Our teams value collaboration, experimentation, and bold creative thinking to deliver work that connects with people and drives meaningful outcomes.

The role.

As a Creative Director, Writing at Huge, you are a world-class creative leader responsible for managing high-profile clients and their brands, while leading and overseeing multidisciplinary project teams to deliver exceptional campaign, design, and digital product experiences. In this role, you will lead copy strategy, narrative vision, and campaign execution for one of the world’s most prestigious technology brands.

We are looking for a hands-on, deeply client-facing leader with a proven track record of bringing major campaigns to life—translating complex briefs, product innovations, and brand platforms into clear, compelling consumer stories. You will play a crucial role in setting creative direction, driving campaign innovation, establishing brand voice systems, and ensuring the highest standards of editorial and narrative excellence without letting speed compromise craft.

What you’ll be doing.
  • Lead the copy strategy and creative writing direction across major campaigns, digital platforms, and product launches for world-class clients.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing voice for all copywriting, messaging architecture, and narrative strategy matters.
  • Present creative copy frameworks, campaign hooks, and messaging hierarchies directly to senior client executives, articulating the strategic narrative behind the work.
  • Direct and mentor copywriters, junior writers, and multidisciplinary teams, establishing high standards for voice, tone, and storytelling excellence.
  • Establish, guard, and evolve global brand voice guidelines, ensuring consistency, tone flexibility, and narrative clarity across all workstreams.
  • Oversee the end-to-end writing process across multidisciplinary teams—collaborating with Design, Art Direction, Strategy, and Motion to integrate copy seamlessly into visual concepts.
  • Navigate complex client feedback with authority, defending narrative integrity while tailoring copy strategy to meet business objectives.
  • Shape overarching editorial direction for high-impact brand campaigns, long-form stories, product narratives, scripts, and digital experiences.
  • Drive innovation in brand messaging and campaign copy, pushing the boundaries of storytelling across emerging tech and digital touchpoints.
  • Champion rigorous editorial quality control, reviewing all written deliverables to ensure narrative precision, brand alignment, and flawless execution.
  • Adapt campaign storytelling and voice strategy for multi-market localization and regional adaptations without losing brand soul.
  • Partner with project management to oversee copy production workflows, ensuring rapid execution and meeting tight timelines without sacrificing craft.
What we like to see.
  • 10+ years of writing leadership experience within premier agencies or in-house creative teams, with a deep portfolio of high-impact campaign copy and narrative design.
  • Proven track record as a client-facing leader, with executive presence and a history of pitching, defending, and winning approval for big copy concepts with senior client stakeholders.
  • Mastery in voice and tone architecture—building comprehensive brand voice systems, editorial guidelines, and messaging frameworks that scale across global client organizations.
  • Demonstrated leadership in guiding, mentoring, and developing copywriters, helping them elevate their craft, narrative structure, and strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional ability to turn complex product features, technical briefs, and abstract concepts into clear, human, and emotionally resonant consumer stories.
  • Deep experience directing multi-channel copy across high-profile campaigns, product launches, video scripts, digital ecosystems, and brand storytelling platforms.
  • Rigorous editorial standards with an uncompromising eye for messaging hierarchy, tone consistency, grammar, and narrative flow.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, partnering seamlessly with Design, Art Direction, Strategy, and Product Directors to lead unified creative teams.
  • Strategic, data-informed approach to writing, using audience research, testing insights, and performance data to shape and defend copy strategies.
  • Experience overseeing multi-market copy localization, ensuring brand voice remains culturally authentic and compelling across international regions.

  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
