Six-Month Contract with Potential to Convert to Full Time
Blue Sky Marketing is seeking a data-driven marketer to build and test targeted customer growth campaigns in HubSpot.
The focus: use smarter segmentation, more relevant email campaigns, and stronger measurement to drive customer growth.
This six-month contract role will identify opportunities in our customer base, launch targeted campaigns, measure impact, and improve performance over time. We are continuing to build a more intentional, data-driven marketing capability. This role will have a direct hand in determining how that capability develops.
HubSpot expertise is essential. Customer growth is the objective.
What You’ll Own
  • Analyze customer behavior, purchase history, engagement, and account potential.
  • Build customer segments, workflows, lists, landing pages, and campaign tracking in HubSpot.
  • Develop targeted email campaigns tied to cross-sell, re-engagement, and category-growth opportunities.
  • Establish attribution, ROI reporting, and performance insights.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to turn customer insights into action and document recommendations for scale.

What Success Looks Like
By the end of the six-month engagement, Blue Sky should have:
  • A repeatable segmentation process and consistent campaign cadence.
  • Clearer visibility into campaign engagement, opportunities, and influenced revenue.
  • A practical recommendation for scaling customer growth marketing.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong HubSpot Marketing Hub experience, including segmentation, automation, campaign execution, and reporting.
  • Ability to use customer data to identify growth opportunities and connect marketing activity to business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical judgment, commercial curiosity, and B2B sales partnership experience.
  • Comfort working independently and building processes in an evolving marketing organization.

Engagement Details
  • Six-month remote contract, approximately 30–40 hours per week.
  • Monthly rate commensurate with experience.
  • Potential to convert to full time based on results, need, and mutual fit.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
