The Work

  • Maintain and grow an assigned book of business through relationship building, renewals, and upsells within the existing client base
  • Achieve annual sales quota through direct selling of SaaS solutions to client executive management
  • Lead SaaS renewal processes, partnering with legal and finance teams as needed
  • Team with Account and Project Managers to identify opportunities for increased ROI within your customer base
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client's business challenges, identifying gaps in their P2P environment and proposing solutions to mitigate risk and secure ongoing business
  • Manage complex, consultative solution sales from opportunity through close
  • Develop and execute account-specific marketing and growth plans
  • Prepare RFP responses as required
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and activity records
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to shape pricing, discount strategy, and sales campaigns
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure prompt, high-quality service to customers
  • Stay current on company contract procedures, pricing, and industry trends in P2P automation, supply chain resilience, and third-party risk
  • Represent apexanalytix at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events (travel required)

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience selling enterprise P2P, supply chain, or vendor/third-party risk SaaS solutions
  • Experience  growing a SaaS footprint within a key account book of business
  • Proven track record of growing revenue and ROI within a Global 2000 customer base
  • Comfortable presenting to C-suite and senior executive stakeholders
  • Experience with consultative/complex sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Challenger, Strategic Selling)
  • Familiarity with Supplier Information Management (SIM) and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
