What You'll Do
Who You Are
Compensation & Benefits
Auger is the autonomous operating system for supply chains. It connects enterprise supply chain systems—ERP, WMS, TMS—into a single data layer, then uses AI to detect problems, evaluate trade-offs, and execute decisions automatically. The platform eliminates the coordination tax: the time and capital lost when disconnected systems force humans to become the integration layer between planning and execution. Actions that previously required days of meetings and manual coordination happen in seconds, within constraints the customer defines.
Founded by Dave Clark and backed by $100M from Oak HC/FT. Headquartered in Bellevue, Washington.
About the RoleYou've run the operation. You've lived the consequences of bad systems. You know the gap between what vendors promise and what actually works when things break at 2 AM. You have built technology solutions to close that gap.
Now you'll use that experience to make sure we build solutions operators can actually use. You'll bridge real-world supply chain operations and our product development function. You work directly with our customer's supply chain teams to understand their systems, constraints, and processes. Then you translate that reality into product requirements our teams can build and you'll manage the solution delivery end-to-end. You will ruthlessly prioritize, force precision in requirements, and deliver brutally clear outcomes measured in dollars.
You meet customers with empathy, honor what they've built, and guide them toward transformative change. You bring healthy skepticism about what it really takes to drive operational change. Your insights won't just inform the roadmap; they'll shape what we build. Through speed, transparency, and results, you will relentlessly gain customer confidence.
You will be the single source of truth for delivery. You will consistently maintain total alignment across Auger. You will resolve bottlenecks relentlessly and mitigate risks proactively. You will show extreme ownership in all aspects of the delivery: we are doing this because it’s hard, not because it’s easy!
- Own the end-to-end delivery of customer implementations from scoping through production launch
- Engage directly with customer supply chain teams through discovery sessions, ride-alongs, and system reviews
- Stress-test concepts and build prototypes to catch edge cases and adoption blockers before they ship
- Translate operational challenges into actionable product requirements with clear use cases and priorities
- Manage stakeholder expectations, timelines, and scope while keeping everyone aligned on outcomes
- Act as translator between customer teams and Auger's product, design, engineering, and science groups
- Run internal briefings bringing the voice of the operator into every product decision
- Raise flags early when something won't work in the field and drive corrective action
- Drive adoption and measure success post-launch, ensuring customers realize value quickly
- Spot expansion opportunities across workflows, business units, and use cases
- Distill trends across customers into strategic insights that shape our long-term strategy
- You've run complex supply chains at scale or built systems to run them. You actually did it, not just managed a team that did. You understand how ERPs, WMS, TMS, and planning systems work because you've lived inside them or built them.
- You've delivered projects under pressure. You know how to manage timelines, coordinate teams, and navigate the dynamics of getting things done in large organizations. You've been the person responsible when things had to ship.
- You're a technologist and ahead of your peers on AI. While others are still skeptical or waiting to see what happens, you've been experimenting, learning, and understanding what AI can actually do in operations. You know where autonomous systems can replace human coordination. That understanding makes you invaluable in building solutions that actually work.
- You empathize with why operators stay committed to legacy systems. You recognize the organizational and financial investments they represent. You understand the rationalized confidence that comes from systems that are "good enough" even when they're not.
- You translate between operations and engineering. You know what matters to a warehouse manager at 6 AM and what a product team needs to build it.
- You have the credibility and conviction to stop bad ideas early and redirect toward what will actually land.
- You want to build and deliver, not just consult. You don't want to write recommendations that sit in a deck. You want to see solutions ship to customers and create measurable impact.
What You Bring
- 8+ years hands-on supply chain operations and/or technology experience at scale
- Proven track record managing complex project delivery in supply chain or technology implementations
- Understanding of modern supply chain systems (the deeper the better)
- Experience driving operational transformation, not just recommending it
- Ability to travel to customer sites
