Perform RMF-based cybersecurity engineering: prepare DoD/Navy accreditation documentation, evaluate and maintain security configurations, apply STIGs, run vulnerability scans (ACAS), and create RMF packages (SSP, SAR, POA&M) to support ATOs.
Netsimco, a Saalex Company is seeking a Cybersecurity Support Analyst in Keyport, WA. Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services.
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $120k-$135k annually (depending on experience)
Work Location: Full-time onsite
Essential Functions:
- Prepare system accreditation documentation required by the Navy and/or DoD
- Evaluate security configurations of systems
- Maintain security configurations of production, development and test systems by applying and configuring security controls
- Assessing system vulnerability using approved DOD tools.
- Information System Security Engineers (ISSEs) acting as RMF practitioners are responsible for ensuring DoD/federal systems comply with security controls (NIST SP 800-53) throughout the lifecycle.
- Key requirements include conducting security engineering, system hardening (STIGs), vulnerability scanning (ACAS), and creating RMF packages (SSP, SAR, POA&M) for authorization (ATO).
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
Required:
- 2+ years of experience with the essential functions listed above.
- Awarded and current certification(s) sufficient to be designated as Cyber Security Workforce Risk Management - Advanced or Information System Security Management -Advanced (CSWF Specialty Areas 61 or 72 respectively) in accordance with DoD 8140.01 examples include:
- CISSP
- CISM
- CASP+
- CCSP
- GSLC
Education:
HS Diploma or GED required.
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
