Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer (SharePoint & Azure AVD)
Location: Remote(New Jersey)
Job Type: Part time-on demand basis(2-3 hours per day)
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated, tech-savvy Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide frontline technical support to our employees, with a focus on SharePoint user assistance and basic Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment management. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in modern Microsoft cloud platforms in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support for desktop hardware, software (Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365), and peripheral issues.
Assist users with SharePoint Online tasks: permissions requests, basic site navigation, document library management, and troubleshooting access/upload issues.
Support the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment: assist users with connection issues, application access within the virtual environment, and basic performance checks.
Execute standard operating procedures for user onboarding/offboarding, including account provisioning and access management in Active Directory/Entra ID.
Document solutions, create user guides, and contribute to the IT knowledge base.
