What you will do to contribute to the company's success

  • The DevOps Administrator is responsible for monitoring, installing, configuring, and maintaining tools in the software environment
  • Assists developers in deployments through administration tasks and working closely with infrastructure teams in cluster builds.
  • Works closely with the infrastructure team to proactively monitor and report performance and utilization of all DevOps
  • technologies.
  • Troubleshoots software DevOps related software, hardware, and host technologies.
  • Manages issues or escalated tickets and tasks, and out of cycle requests from systems/software owners.
  • Installs, configures, and manages additional continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools in the environment,
  • such as Jenkins, GitLab, Maven.
  • Available for on-call responsibilities, often to troubleshoot issues within the environment and accompanying technologies.
  • Takes on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

Qualifications

  • At least six months related experience with Red Hat Linux Required
  • Experience supporting applications running on Docker and Kubernetes Preferred
  • Skills

  • DevOps knowledge
  • An understanding of the Red Hat OpenShift cluster
  • An understanding of containers
  • An understanding of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) space
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration-Preferred
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA®) Preferred
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)-Preferred
