They are comfortable operating in complexity, excel at cross‑functional partnership, and take pride in delivering capabilities that improve how clients engage with Bernstein and how advisors serve clients.
Ideal candidates will have:

  • 2–5 years of experience in digital product management, product ownership, financial services, or a related client‑facing role, with meaningful exposure to client needs and advisor workflows

  • Ability to translate business and user needs into clear recommendations, requirements, or process improvements through strong cross‑functional collaboration

  • Strong problem‑solving skills and sound judgment, including evaluating trade‑offs, managing priorities, and balancing strategic goals with practical execution in a fast‑moving environment

  • Clear, confident communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, a passion for continuous improvement, and a desire to deliver outcomes beyond what is explicitly asked for

  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools, concepts, and delivery practices, particularly related to digital platforms and data

  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes, not just assigned tasks

  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum or experience working in iterative, collaborative delivery environments

  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or other regulated industries preferred, but not required

  • Bachelor's degree required

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
