The Director, HR Process Architecture & Improvement shapes global HR standards and architects scalable, future ready HR processes. This role enables Experience Owners (COEs) to design and deliver effective, integrated solutions across the employee lifecycle via end-to-end process architecture, governance and cross-process interdependencies.
The role applies lean principles, continuous improvement, and a consulting mindset to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support HR and enterprise strategy. Success requires strong partnership with HR leaders, HR Technology, and regional stakeholders to deliver compliant, data driven, and sustainable process solutions.
Key Responsibilities• Serve as process architect for core employee lifecycle processes, ensuring global consistency, scalability, and regulatory compliance.• Partner with Experience Owners to lead end to end process discovery and redesign, including value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and identification of bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and waste.• Develop clear as is and to be process models, define future state roadmaps, and oversee implementation and adoption.• Drive global process standardization while balancing local regulatory and business requirements.• Partner with HR Technology and Service Delivery teams to enable operational efficiencies, including automation, RPA, and AI enabled solutions.• Support the evolution of the global HR Service Delivery model, ensuring processes and capabilities are fit for future scale.• Define and report KPIs and performance insights to measure HR Service Delivery effectiveness, efficiency, and experience.• Lead cost optimization initiatives that reduce operational expenses while maintaining service quality and compliance.• Influence and align senior stakeholders, constructively challenging the status quo to improve outcomes.
Qualifications• Deep expertise in HR process design, mapping, and reengineering, ideally within an HR Service Delivery or shared services environment.• Strong program and project management experience delivering complex, cross functional change.• Proficiency with process modeling and governance tools such as SAP Signavio or equivalent.• Demonstrated experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.• Proven ability to build stakeholder alignment, drive adoption, and influence without authority.• Strategic, analytical, and consultative mindset with a strong bias for execution.
