Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a dynamic and visionary IT Service Owner for Supply Chain & Procurement to lead the strategic direction, lifecycle management, and operational excellence of enterprise capabilities supporting sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and supply chain operations. This role serves as the accountable owner for the end-to-end digital ecosystem enabling procurement and supply chain processes, including the iValua platform and adjacent enterprise solutions.
The Director II will define the long-range technology roadmap, ensure sustained operational performance, and drive continuous modernization to support business transformation. The leader will collaborate extensively across business areas, IT functions, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-value solutions that enable efficient and compliant procurement operations.
This position requires strong executive presence, cross-functional influence, and the ability to translate technical and non-technical concepts for senior leaders and enterprise partner.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end enterprise procurement and supply chain digital ecosystem, including iValua and integrated platforms.
  • Lead the technology roadmap for procurement and supply chain capabilities, aligning with enterprise strategy, compliance needs, and operational priorities.
  • Oversee support, sustainment, and continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain systems, ensuring system stability, performance, and high user satisfaction.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, IT, and external partners to ensure unified execution and cross-functional alignment.
  • Drive platform governance, roadmap prioritization, release planning, and value delivery for enterprise stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams-direct and matrixed-to deliver enhancements, integrations, and major capability deployments.
  • Influence and collaborate effectively across the enterprise, including individuals and leaders outside of direct reporting lines.
  • Communicate technical and business impacts clearly with senior executives, providing transparency into performance, opportunities, risks, and investment needs.
  • Lead talent development for technical, functional, and service management roles.
  • Drive strong SDLC, DevSecOps, and program management practices with emphasis on quality, risk management, and measurable business outcomes.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in IT, software development, program management, or technical leadership roles supporting enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with iValua or comparable enterprise procure-to-pay and supplier management platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes, policies, and operational workflows.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Proven ability to develop and execute technology roadmaps and drive enterprise platform evolution.
  • Experience supporting or sustaining complex enterprise applications in a multi-program, high-complexity environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to both technical and non-technical executives.
  • Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience in software development, enterprise systems, and program management disciplines.
  • Ability to manage cost, schedule, quality, and risk across multiple initiatives concurrently.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $173023 - $294137
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
