About Us

At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive “sick-care” to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against “we caught it too late again".

We’re seeking a strategic and visionary Director of Product Design and UX to lead and scale our User Experience function. This role is ideal for a seasoned design leader with a deep understanding of UX strategy, systems thinking, and human-centered design — especially within the context of HealthTech or MedTech and with an eye towards consumer experience.

We’re building fast, and we need someone who thrives in a dynamic, startup environment — someone who’s proactive, flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by the opportunity to build from scratch. You’ll drive UX standards, processes, and policies, mentor a growing team, and help shape product experiences that make a real difference in people’s health and lives.

Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people’s lives!

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and drive the UX vision and strategy across the product portfolio
  • Develop and implement scalable UX processes, frameworks, and governance policies
  • Champion a user-centered culture across product and engineering

Team Management & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and help grow a multidisciplinary UX team
  • Set performance standards and career growth plans for team members
  • Create a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive design environment

Experience Design

  • Establish and maintain design systems and accessibility standards
  • Oversee end-to-end UX efforts, from discovery and research through execution
  • Ensure cohesive product experiences across web and mobile platforms
  • Drive design performance and effectiveness based on data and strategic KPIs

Collaboration & Execution

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and various stakeholders to align priorities and resources
  • Translate complex healthcare workflows and data into elegant user experiences
  • Use metrics and user insights to measure design impact and iterate
  • You’ll also be envisioning and designing individual solutions and creating documentation and deliverables for specific products as needed

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of UX/UI design experience with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of building UX functions, policies, and scalable design systems
  • Expertise in UX research, product design, and user testing methodologies
  • Mastery of modern UX tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of accessibility, usability heuristics, and WCAG standards
  • Experience in regulated industries (preferably HealthTech or MedTech)
  • Experience in design products that are direct to consumer
  • Experience in mobile application design across platforms
  • An understanding of user research and testing techniques and an ability to drive change and design decisions based on those insights
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Startup or high-growth experience strongly preferred — you’re used to building fast, wearing multiple hats and rapid iteration

Above all: we are Patients

  • We could all be the next person who walks through our very doors, seeking clarity or peace of mind. We are proud of our impact on our patients’ lives, and we won’t stop till everyone can benefit from our work.

  • We believe in preventative healthcare for everyone, including our team - Prenuvo provides free, whole-body scans to each team member

  • Building strong relationships is at the core of everything we do - our team gets together each week to connect, share, and socialize
  • Recognizing time away to restore is vital to our wellbeing - we have a flexible vacation policy and we will encourage you to use it
  • We now offer the Prenuvo’s Commuter Benefits Plan to help cover your transit and parking costs. Whether you ride, drive, or park, we’ve got you covered—making your commute easier and more affordable!
  • Retirement made easy! We offer a 401(k) plan to our US employees to  help you save for the future, with company contributions to support your financial goals. Plan for tomorrow while you grow with us today!
