We’re looking for a Director of Product Management to lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of our Document Storage and Business Intelligence product portfolio.  In this highly visible player‑coach role, you’ll define product vision, drive measurable business outcomes, and lead a talented team of product managers—while remaining hands‑on with at least one product. This is an opportunity to influence direction, accelerate growth, and make a real impact across CSI and our customer community.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership & Product Vision

  • Translate market needs, customer feedback, and regulatory requirements into a clear product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog

  • Establish a path to revenue growth and profitability across the full product line

  • Drive consistent delivery against the roadmap, targeting 90%+ feature delivery

Execution & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Compliance, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure successful product launches and adoption

  • Collaborate with third‑party vendors and providers to extend and enhance product capabilities

  • Ensure products meet regulatory and compliance standards, including BSA/AML considerations

  • Influence SDLC processes and agile best practices to improve delivery outcomes

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert, providing consultative guidance to customers and stakeholders

  • Represent CSI as a product and industry leader in customer conversations, industry events, and thought leadership opportunities

  • Leverage market research and competitive insights to continuously refine product strategy

People & Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers aligned to strategic objectives

  • Foster a culture of ownership, learning, and iteration

  • Support career growth, skill development, and high performance across the product team

  • Act as a change catalyst, influencing product thinking across the organization

Business & Financial Ownership

  • Develop business cases and prepare budgets for senior leadership review

  • Manage assigned cost centers and ensure responsible expense control

  • Align product investments with long‑term business goals

What Success Looks Like in Year One

  • A clear, actionable product vision and roadmap for Document Storage and BI

  • Strong backlog discipline and predictable delivery across products

  • Progress toward measurable revenue growth and margin improvement

  • A high‑performing, engaged product management team

What You Bring

Experience & Education

  • 10+ years of Product Management (or equivalent) experience in a product‑centric environment

  • Experience leading and developing product or technical teams

  • Strong familiarity with BSA/AML regulatory requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
