LiveRamp is shaping the future of responsible data collaboration between the world’s leading brands, retailers, financial services providers, and healthcare innovators. LiveRamp is headquartered in San Francisco, California, with offices worldwide. Learn more at LiveRamp.com.

You will:

· Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for LiveRamp’s core platform capabilities (ingestion, data catalog, platform APIs, and activation), from strategy and roadmap through launch and ongoing optimization.

· Translate company strategy and customer needs into a clear, outcome-oriented platform roadmap, with defined quarterly and annual objectives and measurable success criteria.

· Partner closely with Engineering and Architecture to define technical requirements, make build/buy/partner decisions, and ensure the platform is scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-efficient.

· Lead discovery with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to deeply understand workflows and pain points, then convert those into simple, reusable platform services and APIs.

· Define and track key product and business metrics (e.g., adoption, API utilization, latency, reliability, margin) and use them to guide prioritization and iteration.

· Drive high-quality product execution by developing prototypes, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring delivery teams have the context and support needed to ship on time and with quality.

· Collaborate with GTM, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to craft positioning, packaging, and launch plans that make our platform easy to understand, adopt, and sell.

· Represent the platform in strategic customer and partner conversations, including roadmap reviews, executive briefings, and escalations.

· Champion platform thinking and reuse across product lines, ensuring that new capabilities are designed as shared services rather than one-off solutions.

· Build and maintain a rigorous, transparent prioritization process that balances customer impact, technical investment, regulatory needs, and long-term platform health.

· Ensure our platform roadmap anticipates and responds to market, regulatory, and ecosystem shifts.

· Mentor and coach other PMs in platform best practices, elevating product quality and execution across the broader organization.

Your team will:

Lead the vision and execution for the foundational platform that powers all LiveRamp products and data collaboration experiences. This team sits at the center of our strategy, working across Identity, Connectivity, Clean Rooms, and partner integrations to ensure every product is built on a consistent, reliable, and privacy-first core.

You will partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Privacy/Legal, Security, and other Product teams to design and deliver shared services, APIs, and experiences that can be reused across multiple solutions and clouds. Your team will help:

· Define and evolve the core platform architecture and capabilities that power LiveRamp’s customer and partner ecosystem.

· Create and manage common services (e.g. permissions and entitlements, observability, data onboarding and activation workflows) used by multiple product lines.

· Enable faster innovation by other teams through robust APIs, documentation, and self-service tools that make it easy to build on top of LiveRamp.

· Ensure consistent reliability, performance, and compliance across products by setting and upholding platform-level standards and SLAs.

· Partner with cloud and technology partners to deepen integrations and unlock new capabilities for customers through the LiveRamp platform.

· Serve as a center of excellence for platform product management, influencing strategy, best practices, and investment decisions across the product organization.

About you:

· 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 4+ years focused on platform, infrastructure, or API products serving multiple internal and external customers.

· Proven track record of building and scaling shared platforms or services that support multiple product lines or business units.

· Experience working in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, ideally in data, advertising/marketing technology, cloud, or identity-related domains.

· Demonstrated ability to define and execute a multi-year product strategy, with clear milestones, metrics, and business outcomes.

· Strong technical acumen; comfortable discussing architecture, trade-offs, and constraints with senior engineers and architects, and translating them into clear product decisions.

· Excellent analytical skills, with experience using data (product analytics, experimentation, customer feedback) to drive prioritization and measure impact.

· Skilled at stakeholder management and communication across levels and functions—able to influence without authority and drive alignment among Product, Engineering, GTM, and leadership.

· Comfortable operating in a complex, fast-changing ecosystem that includes cloud platforms, large enterprise customers, and technology partners.

· Able to balance short-term delivery with long-term platform health, including technical debt management and foundational investments.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting product strategy and roadmap to executive and customer audiences.

· Experience leading and mentoring other product managers or playing a leadership role in a broader product organization.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience building or managing large-scale data or identity platforms, clean rooms, or privacy-preserving data collaboration technologies.

· Background working closely with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake) and designing products that span multiple cloud environments.

· Familiarity with modern data architectures and technologies (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes, streaming, SQL/NoSQL, ETL/ELT, event-driven systems).

· Experience with API-first product design, developer experience, and building ecosystems or marketplaces on top of a core platform.

· Prior exposure to digital advertising, martech, adtech, or measurement, including evolving addressability and privacy landscapes.

· Understanding of global privacy and data protection considerations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, industry self-regulation) and how they influence platform design.

· Experience with outcome-driven product development frameworks (e.g., OKRs, north-star metrics) and structured prioritization approaches (e.g., RICE, cost/benefit).

· Prior experience in a high-growth or transformation environment where you helped scale or re-platform core capabilities.

· MBA or advanced degree in a technical or business discipline is a plus.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
