Job Title

What does a successful Business Strategy Advisor do? 

As a Business Strategy Advisor, you will play a key part in delivering on the strategic vision and direction of the business. This individual will be responsible for Executive level reporting and business planning through recurring measurement, analytics and tracking against business milestones. Will lead executive leadership forums as needed to identify and track actions as a result.

What you will do:

• Support activities related to strategic initiatives and programs designed to maximize performance, increased efficiency and drive revenue generating activities.

• Maintain accountability for building and maintaining dashboards to provide leadership with consistent and accurate insight to make strategic business decisions.

• Create value-added reports, metrics and analysis across multiple dimensions.

• Assist with the definition and tracking of key strategic performance metrics.

• Leverage subject matter experts across multiple functions for data compilation and insights needed for overall business dashboards and decisions.

• Participate in weekly/monthly leadership meetings, as well as other strategy discussions.

• Lead the collection and analysis of processes and data to help drive improved processes to achieve business objectives. Support governance structure for leading business initiatives.

• Engage in cross-Business Unit strategy collaboration and support.

• Conduct research and analysis as needed for new strategic and growth initiatives or programs.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related analytical field

• General management mind set and strong business and analytical acumen

• Ability to run with a moderate to high degree of complexity requiring conceptualization

• Proven ability to work and influence in complex cross functional environment

• Prior project management skills on large and complex projects

• Demonstrated experience in organizational design and change leadership

• Excellent oral and written skills

• Self-starter with the ability to independently prioritize and get results in an ambiguous/fast paced environment

What would be great to have:

• 5 years of financial services experience

• Broad functional knowledge across Finance, Operations, Human Resources

Salary Range

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
