Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven, and strategic Sales Director to join our dynamic team at Horizons, a leading Employer of Record (EOR) provider. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive business growth and customer acquisition. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the EOR industry, and the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver exceptional service and solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the sales strategy for North America, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Implement scalable sales processes that drive efficiency and results.
  • Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team of Account Executives across North America.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Own and drive regional revenue targets, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies and increase conversion rates.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to enhance sales pipeline and market positioning.
  • Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics to monitor progress and ensure team success.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews to ensure alignment and accountability within the sales team.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the sales process for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement tools and technologies to streamline the sales process, improve lead generation, and track performance.
  • Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales quotas and targets.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasts.
  • Represent Horizons as a thought leader in the EOR & HRTech space.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales management experience in the EOR space.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams.
  • Expertise in GTM strategy development for both inbound and outbound sales.
  • Experience selling into midmarket and enterprise accounts with longer sales cycles.
  • Strong ability to develop partnerships with PEOs, EORs, and payroll providers.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills in a remote, distributed environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and close deals.
  • Managing LATAM is a plus, but not required.
  • Proven track record of success and a strong drive for results.
  • Looking for someone with determination, hunger, responsiveness, and professionalism.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), with a keen attention to detail and discipline.

  • Strong decision-making and organizational skills, with the ability to provide expert advice and practical solutions.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, leveraging communication skills, knowledge, and expertise to resolve issues.
