Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Supply Chain Finance to lead and scale the financial partnership across our global supply chain organization, with a strong emphasis on North America. This leader will serve as a strategic advisor to Supply Chain and Operations leadership, providing financial insights that drive operational efficiency, margin expansion, inventory optimization, and long-term value creation.

The Director, Supply Chain Finance will lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis across sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, inventory, and fulfillment. This role will build strong cross-functional partnerships, develop a high-performing team, and play a critical role in decision-making through best-in-class reporting, financial modeling, and performance management tools in a dynamic global environment.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes for Supply Chain and Operations.
  • Lead monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and executive management reporting for supply chain cost centers and operational performance.
  • Partner with Supply Chain leaders to develop financial strategies that improve gross margin, optimize cost-to-serve, and support long-term business growth.
  • Drive insight into key supply chain drivers including sourcing costs, inbound freight, transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, inventory, and distribution expenses.
  • Develop financial models and reporting that support product costing, inventory investments, network design decisions, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Find opportunities to improve working capital performance through inventory optimization, forecast accuracy, and supply chain efficiency initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor critical metrics that measure supply chain performance, cost efficiency, service levels, inventory health, productivity, and financial return on operational investments.
  • Partner with Operations, Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Commercial Finance, and Regional Finance teams to evaluate critical initiatives, capital investments, and transformation programs.
  • Lead financial analysis and business case development for network optimization, automation, technology investments, vendor negotiations, and other significant supply chain initiatives.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and financial insights that enable proactive decision-making and continuous improvement across the supply chain organization.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team that provides partnership, accountability, and analytical support across global operations.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience with increasing scope and accountability, including at least 5 years of people leadership.
  • Significant experience supporting Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Inventory, or Commercial Finance functions.
  • Experience in consumer products, retail, omnichannel, manufacturing, or other complex product-based environments preferred.
  • Proven success driving cost optimization, gross margin improvement, inventory management, and operational productivity initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading business case development, capital investment evaluations, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Excel power user with demonstrated ability to build sophisticated driver-based financial models and complex reporting solutions.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM, SmartView, Power BI, Tableau, or other enterprise planning and visualization tools preferred.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or related professional certification preferred.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.

Salary Range
$180,000—$200,000 USD
