THE ROLE

AG1 is seeking a Director, Supply Planning to join the Supply Chain leadership team and play a pivotal role in the development and execution of long-term, strategic supply chain initiatives to drive optimization and efficiency across inventory flow, supplier relationships, and ingredient planning.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Planning & Inventory Management, the Director, Supply Planning will oversee the creation of accurate supply plans, manage inventory to meet customer demands, and lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with AG1 business objectives. As a key leader, you will mentor and develop a high-performing supply chain team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure that the company’s supply chain operations are cost-effective, responsive, and adaptable to market demands.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Lead the strategic direction for supply planning, optimizing inventory flow and finished good and ingredient supply across all product categories.
  • Partner with Manufacturing and Procurement teams to establish and maintain strong relationships with co-manufacturers, packaging, and ingredient suppliers to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Monitor distribution requirements, ensuring optimal inventory levels and cost from source to market
  • Manage supply risks, identify potential disruptions, and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain issues.
  • Collaborate and drive alignment with key stakeholders across the business including Brand & Commercial Partnerships, Customer Happiness, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Procurement to ensure we have the right inventory at the right time in the right quantities to meet our customers’ expectations, to drive supply chain efficiencies and mitigate risks.
  • Serve as a key contributor to the successful implementation and integration of Supply Chain Planning Tools to enhance supply chain visibility, leveraging improved analytics, and improving process flow.
  • Coordinate with Demand Planning and Finance through S&OP process to align supply plans with budgets and financial targets, ensuring consistency between supply planning and financial objectives.
  • Lead critical supply chain initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and drive overall supply chain improvements, ensuring process changes are well-communicated and effectively integrated across teams.
  • Regularly review and track objective and key results (OKRs), driving continuous improvement to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning or a related field with demonstrated success in leadership roles managing supply chain initiatives and driving strategy.
  • Strong expertise in inventory management, forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven experience in navigating high-stakes initiatives and cross-functional projects, collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Experience with ERP systems, supply chain planning tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment marked by change, innovation, and rapid expansion, with the skill of anticipating needs and thinking critically to drive impact.
  • Superior verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with diverse audiences.

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $141,500 - $175,500 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
