Who We Are

We’re Personified: a managed IT + cybersecurity services provider for campaigns, non-profits, and mission-aligned organizations. Our mission is to lead technology and security programs for our clients, enabling them to focus on their mission-critical work.

We act as an extension of our client teams — we handle all the responsibilities a traditional internal IT team would. We’re in our clients’ Slacks, we’re on a first-name basis with them (and their pets), we’re new hires’ first point of contact, and we’re the first stop for tech and cybersecurity issues. We aim to build trust, and we leverage this to keep the bad actors out.

Some of the biggest names in the progressive space have leaned on us as their trusted IT + cybersecurity partner. We are looking for top IT talent as we continue to scale our team.

About the Role

The Technical Programs Director is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight and successful execution of all technical programs across Personified. This position will lead and mentor a team of Technical Programs staff, manage the accounts of strategic clients, and ensure the delivery of high-quality and impactful projects that meet client expectations and exceed business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of success in managing complex projects, building and motivating high-performing teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities Overview:

Team Management + Internal Priorities (60%)

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing client service delivery team responsible for the onboarding of new clients, ongoing account management, upsell, and project management of additional service delivery.
  • Conduct regular project status and materials reviews and provide strategic guidance to the service delivery team as well as cross-functional project teams.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across all departments (e.g., Partnerships, Engineering, Client Support).
  • Other duties as needed.

Strategic Account Management (25%)

  • Develop and maintain a number of strategic customer accounts through active account management, relationship development, and proactively assessing upsell opportunities.
  • Build and sustain long-term, high-level relationships with C-level stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within assigned strategic accounts.
  • Create and execute comprehensive strategic account plans that define mutual performance objectives and critical milestones.

Project Management (15%)

  • Define and implement best practices and methodologies for project management across the organization.
  • Proactively identify process improvements and mitigate potential risks and challenges, related to project delivery to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
