JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for managing the business pricing program and support data-driven decision-making across our ecommerce business. This hybrid role will be responsible for analyzing product pricing, profitability, and marketing campaign performance to help optimize revenue, customer acquisition, and ROI. The ideal candidate is able to translate insights into impactful business actions. This role is also responsible for analyzing trends and margin impact of the business pricing strategy to inform about profitability and growth. As well as making sound pricing recommendations, the ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with an understanding of online marketplaces and consumer behavior. This role will oversee the collection, analysis, visualization, and interpretation of data related to customer behavior, price strategy effectiveness, and campaign performance. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Pricing & Revenue Analytics

  • Analyze product pricing to identify opportunities to improve margins and competitiveness.
  • Manage the execution and monitoring of the business pricing strategy centered in dynamic pricing. 
  • Monitor competitor pricing and promotional activity using internal tools and third-party platforms.
  • Develop, test, and evaluate pricing models to optimize revenue and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Conduct A/B testing and pricing elasticity studies to inform pricing decisions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key pricing, product, and promotional KPIs and financial impacts.
  • Lead pricing analysis including price elasticity, promotional effectiveness, and market competitiveness to inform strategic pricing decisions.
  • Oversee competitive price monitoring tools and pricing intelligence platforms to ensure real-time visibility into market trends.
  • Monitor key pricing KPIs (margin dollars, ASP, revenue impact) and present findings and recommendations to leadership regularly.

Marketing Performance Analytics

  • Analyze digital marketing campaign & channel performance (paid search, paid social, email, affiliate) and provide actionable insights.
  • Track KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, LTV, CVR, and retention metrics across channels.
  • Evaluate A/B tests and customer segmentation efforts to improve targeting and personalization.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize ad spend and customer journeys.
  • Perform customer segment analysis that support business decision making for marketing programs and initiatives. 
  • Proactively recommends analysis and ways to better inform business decision making. 

Reporting & Data Management 

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track pricing performance, marketing effectiveness (CLV, CAC, Marketing Channel Incrementality), and overall eCommerce KPIs.
  • Translate data into insights that influence strategic decisions across the business.
  • Help ensure data integrity across marketing and commerce platforms (Shopify, GA4, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, etc.).
  • Oversee integration of data from multiple eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Meta Ads) into centralized BI tools.
  • Administrator of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, PowerBI, others, ensuring access and permissions are granted according to business need & security
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

  • Experience with Python, SQL or R for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policies and enforcement.
  • Experience in healthcare, distribution or marketplace-based businesses.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and pricing software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce KPIs and customer metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, CVR, ROAS).
  • Establishes and maintains a library of procedural documents detailing how each report is generated to ensure succession of knowledge and processes

WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred. May hold two or more industry certifications.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

             

The posted range for this position is $99,622 to $155,660 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. 

This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
