As an Enrollment Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping enrollment experiences that drive employee engagement, participation, and benefits awareness for our customers.
In this highly visible, customer-facing role, you'll serve as the strategic lead for enrollment and communication planning, partnering with customers, sales teams, implementation teams, and technology vendors to deliver effective enrollment strategies and exceptional customer experiences. What You'll Do
Enrollment Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute comprehensive enrollment and communication strategies for assigned customers.
Lead enrollment planning activities and oversee execution from strategy development through enrollment completion.
Collaborate with customers and internal partners to design tailored enrollment approaches that align with business goals.
Partner with benefits administration platforms and technology vendors to ensure enrollment strategies align with system capabilities and implementation requirements.
Customer & Sales Partnership
Build strong relationships with customers and serve as a trusted advisor on enrollment best practices.
Partner with Relationship Managers and other stakeholders to deliver customized enrollment solutions.
Support sales and growth initiatives, including finalist presentations, new business opportunities, and product expansion discussions.
Identify opportunities to enhance participation, employee engagement, and product adoption.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the enrollment lifecycle.
Coordinate efforts across Sales, Implementation, Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Lead collaboration with Associate Enrollment Managers and additional resources to execute enrollment campaigns and deliverables.
Implementation & Campaign Management
Participate in customer onboarding and implementation activities to establish enrollment objectives and timelines.
Facilitate planning discussions and contribute to customer and internal meetings.
Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and enrollment timelines to ensure successful execution.
Communications & Deliverables Oversight
Oversee the development and delivery of enrollment communication campaigns and materials.
Ensure enrollment communications are aligned with strategy, customer objectives, and project timelines.
Coordinate the execution of campaign components, including educational content, events, and employee engagement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Business Growth
Analyze enrollment performance and identify opportunities to improve participation and customer outcomes.
Support business reviews and strategic planning discussions.
Contribute ideas and best practices that enhance enrollment effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
3+ years of Insurance experience in enrollment services, employee benefits, insurance, marketing, project management, or a related field is required.
Experience collaborating across multiple teams in a customer-focused environment.
Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with employee benefits, voluntary benefits, insurance, or enrollment programs.
Experience supporting large, complex customer implementations or strategic accounts.
Knowledge of Salesforce, enrollment platforms, benefits administration systems, or communications technologies.
Experience presenting recommendations and building relationships with customers and business partners.
Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset.
Strong relationship builder who can influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
Effective communicator with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
Results-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys solving problems.
This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
