PurposeCare is an integrated healthcare platform company that coordinates care in the community with a focus on individuals who are dually eligible for Medicaid and Medicare. Our family of companies provide home care to assist individuals with daily living as well as skilled clinical services to treat acute conditions and manage wellness. PurposeCare is private equity funded and growing quickly across multiple states through mergers and acquisitions as well as organic growth.

We are seeking a results driven EMR (electronic medical record) Program Manager to direct the strategy, implementation, rollout, and ongoing management of EMR systems across our organization. The EMR Program Manager will help evaluate our current vendor footprint, including Axxess, Alayacare, Continulink, Kantime, MatrixCare, and Wellsky, and help develop a roadmap for an efficient platform across states and service lines (homecare and home health).

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the execution of project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure they align with the organization's overall strategy and goals.
  • Lead the implementation and rollout of EMRs across the organization, working with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Understand the organization's EMR requirements and work with EMR vendors to ensure the system meets those requirements.
  • Partner with the data team to ensure we're capturing the appropriate data elements to support the business.
  • Work with business applications such as ADP and Salesforce to ensure all systems integrations are built to enable automation across the platform.
  • Participate in quarterly planning, bi-weekly sprints, system upgrades, and task-level delivery.
  • Build relationships with vendors and begin to establish industry partnerships.
  • Collaborate with and provide ongoing training to internal teams such as clinical, billing, HR, and operations teams to ensure the EMR system is adopted and utilized effectively.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience as an analyst, in project management, program management, or product management with a focus on EMR projects.
  • Experience going through digital transformation within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Details:

Location: Remote, with occasional visits to branch/agency as needed.
