Compensation: $80-$160 per hour

We are seeking experienced Engineering and Platform professionals with backgrounds in software engineering, infrastructure, cloud platforms, or related technical disciplines. In this role, you will review, evaluate, and provide structured feedback on domain-specific professional documents and work products, assessing their quality, technical accuracy, clarity, and relevance.

RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate engineering, infrastructure, and platform-related documents and work products.
  • Assess materials for technical accuracy, completeness, clarity, consistency, and practical relevance.
  • Provide structured, objective, and well-reasoned feedback based on defined evaluation criteria.
  • Identify technical errors, inconsistencies, gaps, or areas where documentation or solutions could be improved.
  • Compare and assess different technical approaches, recommendations, or outputs where required.
  • Follow established guidelines and evaluation frameworks consistently.
  • Apply professional engineering judgment when reviewing technical content across different subject areas.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering, infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and evaluate technical information accurately and objectively.
Required Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong technical document analysis and review capabilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inaccuracies or inconsistencies.
  • Ability to interpret technical concepts and communicate observations clearly.
  • Comfortable following structured evaluation guidelines and maintaining consistency across assignments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, APIs, databases, DevOps, or platform technologies.
  • Familiarity with technical architecture documentation, engineering specifications, system designs, or operational documentation.
  • Experience reviewing technical proposals, engineering reports, or other professional work products.
  • Exposure to AI, machine learning, or technology evaluation projects is a plus.
Eligibility
  • Candidates must be based in the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, or Canada.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working remotely and independently.
  • Strong English communication skills are required.

Contract and Payment Terms
  • You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
  • This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
  • Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance.
  • Work will not require access to confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, or institution.
  • Payments are made weekly through Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered.
