About Nebius:

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.

Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.

The role
We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer to join our Enterprise Technologies team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, reliability, and continuous improvement of our collaboration application ecosystem - including (but not limited to) Atlassian Cloud, Slack, Zoom, and other business collaboration SaaS platforms including AI systems. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (IT, Security, Compliance, and business teams) to ensure our collaboration tools remain secure, well-governed, integrated, and aligned with organisational needs.
This position is ideal for someone with strong hands-on SaaS administration experience who enjoys automation, integrations, platform governance, and driving adoption across a modern enterprise stack.
You’re welcome to work remotely in the USA.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain collaboration and productivity SaaS platforms, including Atlassian Cloud (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Assets, Statuspage), Slack, Zoom, and adjacent tools as needed.
  • Own platform reliability and operational health: monitoring, incident response, problem management, and continuous improvement (runbooks, SLAs/SLOs where applicable).
  • Design and manage Jira/JSM configurations (workflows, automation rules, custom fields, request types, SLAs, portals, permission schemes) aligned to organizational standards.
  • Manage Confluence spaces, templates, and permissions, ensuring consistent governance and information architecture across departments.
Implement and support identity federation and user lifecycle management (SSO, SCIM) via Azure Entra ID (Azure AD) and enforce least-privilege access models across platforms.
  • Build and maintain automations and integrations using APIs, webhooks, and automation tooling (e.g., Atlassian Automation, Slack/Zoom APIs, scripts in Python/PowerShell), enabling cross-tool workflows and reducing manual admin effort.
  • Evaluate, onboard, and manage third-party apps/add-ons and AI capabilities (security review, supportability, licensing/cost management, and vendor engagement).
  • Partner with Security, Compliance, and IT Governance to ensure adherence to data retention, access control, audit requirements, and secure configuration baselines.
  • Support enterprise AI systems used for collaboration and productivity (e.g., AI assistants/copilots, enterprise search/knowledge tooling) with governance, access, integrations, and responsible enablement.
  • Maintain documentation, change logs, configuration records, and standards for all owned systems; drive consistent operating procedures and change management.
  • Collaborate with project teams and business owners to optimize use cases, drive adoption, and deliver platform enhancements via a clear backlog and roadmap.
  • Provide tier-3 user support, training, and best-practice guidance for collaboration tools; develop self-service and enablement materials where appropriate.

We expect you to have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting enterprise collaboration SaaS platforms (deep expertise in at least one; broad competence across several).
  • Strong experience with Atlassian Cloud administration (Jira Software and/or Jira Service Management, Confluence), including scalable configuration design (workflows, automation, permissions, and governance).
  • Experience administering and governing Slack and/or Zoom (workspace governance, policies, roles, and integrations) or comparable collaboration platforms.
  • Practical experience with SSO, SCIM, and user lifecycle management via Azure Entra ID (Azure AD) or an equivalent identity provider.
  • Experience with API-based integrations and automation; comfortable with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar) and working with webhooks/REST APIs.
  • Understanding of SaaS governance principles, including access reviews, retention, audit controls, and BCP/DR considerations for critical systems.
  • Ability to evaluate and manage marketplace apps/add-ons and AI features with a focus on security, supportability, and business value.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a collaborative mindset; comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for process improvement, automation, reliability, and knowledge sharing.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ITSM practices and tooling (incident/problem/change), including running service operations for SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with Jira Service Management as an enterprise service platform (portals, catalogs, assets/CMDB concepts, and integrations).
  • Familiarity with information security and privacy controls relevant to collaboration and AI systems (e.g., retention/eDiscovery concepts, DLP, conditional access).
  • Experience with integration platforms (iPaaS) and/or enterprise automation frameworks.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Career growth and learning opportunities
  • Flexibility and ownership
  • Collaborative and innovative culture
  • Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
  • International environment and talented teams

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
